Useful (and free!) software downloads

There are some excellent alternatives to the more 'mainstream' software applications produced by Microsoft and others.  We have listed below some of our favourites, all of which are used in our every-day business and come highly recommended.  We don't provide support for any of these, although if you're interested in using them in your business we would be happy to advise and assist with the installation.

Foxit Reader An excellent PDF reader as an alternative to Adobe Reader, fast and free

Mozilla Firefox Web browser as an alternative to Internet Explorer.  Very highly regarded, numerous useful plugins and highly customisable.  Used extensively in our office.

Skype Make free calls from your computer to other Skype users.  Also provides cheap calls to phones and mobiles worldwide.
